Booking and confirmation

By submitting a booking request, paying for a reservation or appointment, or staying at Dark Fairy Farm, you agree to these terms and the policies shown during checkout. “Wilding” refers to the retreat experience offered at Dark Fairy Farm in Northern California.

A request is not confirmed until the applicable booking provider issues written confirmation and any required payment, verification, agreement, or deposit step is completed. Availability may change until confirmation. The person making the booking must be at least 18 and is responsible for the accuracy of guest information.

The retreat is designed for one registered guest unless Wilding approves another arrangement in writing. Dates, occupancy, included items, and special conditions in the confirmation control if they differ from general website copy.

Pricing, payments, and additions

The booking calendar or checkout displays the applicable rate, fees, estimated taxes, payment schedule, and total for the dates selected. Pricing may vary by date, season, promotion, or custom offer. Charges are processed through the provider identified at checkout, such as Hospitable or GoHighLevel and its payment processor.

A three-night retreat includes only the items specifically listed in the confirmed offer. Optional dinners, Healing Arts, early or late access, and other additions may carry separate charges. An addition is reserved only after it is confirmed and any required payment is completed.

The one-hour extended-stay planning appointment is currently $100 and non-refundable. It is separate from the lodging reservation unless a written offer says otherwise.

Cancellation, refunds, and changes

Three-night direct retreat bookings

Unless a confirmed offer states otherwise, a guest who cancels at least five full days before the scheduled 4:00 PM check-in is eligible for the refund shown in the booking policy, less any fee expressly identified as non-refundable. Later cancellations, no-shows, shortened stays, and refunds are governed by the cancellation terms displayed in Hospitable or the booking confirmation. Platform-specific reservations, including Airbnb, follow the policy confirmed on that platform.

Appointments and guest-only services

The $100 extended-stay planning appointment is non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to calendar availability and the conditions shown at booking. Guest-only Healing Arts sessions and other additions follow the cancellation terms shown at purchase. After a refund deadline, contact Wilding promptly; when appropriate for the service, a later appointment or Zoom session may be offered instead of a refund, but is not guaranteed.

Changes by Wilding

Wilding may reasonably modify timing, practitioner, meal, or activity details for safety, weather, illness, property conditions, or events beyond its control. If Wilding must cancel a paid item and cannot offer a suitable substitute, the amount paid for that item will be refunded. A lodging cancellation by Wilding will be handled according to the confirmed booking policy and applicable law.

Guest and property expectations

Guests must follow the house rules, quiet hours, fire restrictions, parking directions, check-in instructions, occupancy limits, and safety guidance provided in the listing, confirmation, rental agreement, or Guest Portal. Unauthorized guests, parties, commercial activity, illegal conduct, and conduct that unreasonably disturbs neighbors or animals are prohibited.

The booking guest is responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear, missing property, extraordinary cleaning, rule violations, and charges permitted by the confirmed agreement. Pets, smoking, open flames, and outdoor fires are allowed only when expressly approved and lawful.

Meals, ingredients, and allergies

Meal descriptions identify intended ingredients, but substitutions may be necessary because of availability. Guests must disclose serious allergies, dietary restrictions, and cross-contact concerns before arrival. The kitchen prepares multiple ingredients and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. A guest with a potentially severe allergy should contact Wilding before purchasing a meal so feasibility can be discussed.

Meal selections and delivery timing are subject to the confirmed package or upsell. Food is for the registered guest and should be stored and consumed according to provided instructions.

Healing Arts and wellness disclaimer

Reiki, Tarot, astrology, Ayurveda-inspired education, guided meditation, intuitive sessions, and similar offerings are optional reflective or wellness experiences. They are not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, emergency services, legal advice, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for treatment from a licensed professional.

Guests remain responsible for their own decisions and should disclose any condition that could affect safe participation. Do not delay professional or emergency care because of a session. Call 911 or the appropriate emergency service for an urgent medical or mental-health concern. Results and interpretations are personal and are not guaranteed.

Off-grid conditions and voluntary activities

Dark Fairy Farm is a rural, off-grid property. Conditions may include uneven ground, steps, wildlife, insects, changing weather, limited lighting, smoke or fire restrictions, intermittent utility or internet performance, and travel distance from emergency services. Guests should bring suitable footwear, follow posted or verbal instructions, and use reasonable care.

Participation in walks, meditation outdoors, farm activities, and other optional experiences is voluntary. Guests should decline any activity that is unsuitable for their health, mobility, comfort, or experience.

Responsibility, disputes, and general terms

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each party remains responsible for its own negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct. Nothing in these terms waives a right that cannot legally be waived. Wilding is not responsible for loss caused by a guest’s violation of instructions, undisclosed condition, or events outside reasonable control.

These terms are governed by California law. Before filing a claim, the guest and Wilding agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern directly by email. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes will be handled in the courts serving Humboldt County, California.

If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce one term is not a waiver. The confirmed booking, applicable platform terms, posted house rules, and these terms form the agreement, with the more specific confirmed term controlling an inconsistency.
